• General molecular biology techniques, including subcloning of variable chains into human IgG expression vectors to generate chimeric antibodies using Gibson Assembly.

• Isolate variable domains to drive antibody discovery from hybridoma but cloned sources, using PCR methodologies.

• Express large amounts of chimeric antibodies through large-scale transient transfection in expiCHO cells.

• Purify large-scale chimeric antibodies using affinity chromatography.

• Humanize mouse antibodies using complementarity-determining region (CDR) grafting technology and computer-assisted molecular modeling.

• Develop processes and assays to discover, generate, and characterize antibodies against selected target antigens.

• Contribute to target antigen discovery and development programs.

• Postdoctoral degree in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or related fields with 2-3 years of experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in molecular biology is required.

• Proven success in mouse antibody humanization is essential.

• Experience in applying deep sequencing/barcoding in variable chain sequencing is a plus.

• Experience in guiding, training, and managing others is desired.
